Cornucopia

Quaint Cornucopia is a tiny-town situated on Lake Superior on the north side of the Bayfield Peninsula on Siskiwit Bay. It received its name in the early 1900’s for its abundance of resources. Located in the Township of Bell, Cornucopia has a wonderful little downtown with a renowned grocery store, fishery, coffee shop, restaurants, and a gas station. Its location on WI Hwy 13 and Co Rd C, makes it easy to reach from every direction. There is a small marina and a beautiful stretch of beach to spend hours enjoying the lake. Cornucopia has about 100 year-round residents, most of which live in the beautiful, wooded areas in the township. Well-loved Blueberry Lane is a stretch of beachfront properties with views to the north, while Roman’s and Spirit point both stretch into Lake Superior offering spectacular vistas east and west from the higher cliffs. Meyers Beach with its sea caves is located east of Cornucopia, a sought after destination for kayakers and ice-trekkers alike. Cornucopia is in the South Shore school system in Port Wing.
